Jatin Rana is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Hematology and Oncology. His research focuses on clinical trials for metastatic and refractory/relapsed cancers, including aggressive breast cancers and gastrointestinal malignancies.
Dr. Rana received his M.D. from Wayne State University. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Henry Ford Hospital and his fellowship in hematology/oncology at William Beaumont Hospital of Royal Oak. Dr. Rana is a medical oncologist and is board certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Medical Oncology.
Dr. Rana is currently researching the management and outcome of colorectal cancer in young patients and representation of minorities in clinical trials. His previous research experience includes: Heparin Induced Thrombocytopenia, antibiotic resistant bacteria, and preventing Venous Thrombotic events.
