BONNIE HARRINGTON

ABOUT

Bonnie Harrington is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathobiology and Diagnostic Investigation with the College of Veterinary Medicine. Her research focuses on using canines as a model for human hematologic malignancies.

Dr. Harrington received her Ph.D. in Comparative and Veterinary Medicine from Ohio State University and also received her D.V.M. from Ohio State University.

RESEARCH

The Harrington Lab studies the genetic aberrations and molecular pathways that lead to aggressive B-cell lymphoma and performs comparative studies with both canine and human tissues. Additionally, the Lab researches a pre-neoplastic condition, clonal hematopoiesis, and evaluates its presence in the canine and how it contributes to myeloid leukemia, lymphoma, and other medical conditions.
