ABOUT
Ming Chen is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiology. His research focuses on superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles (SPIONs) for medical imaging and targeted drug delivery.
Ming Chen received a master’s degree in Physics at The University of Hong Kong. He then pursued his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering and Biotechnology at the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth. Dr. Chen completed his post-doctoral training at the Center for Engineering in Medicine, Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School.
RESEARCH
In addition to the Chen Lab’s emphasis on superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles, Dr. Chen’s cancer research also includes the role of miRNAs in distant metastatic cancer and CAR T-cell therapy for solid tumors.
