ABOUT
Erika Lisabeth is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology. Her research focuses on targeting the molecular mechanisms that cause disease, including cancer.
Dr. Lisabeth received her Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of California, San Diego. She completed her postdoctoral training at Sanford-Burnham Medical Research Institute.
RESEARCH
Dr. Lisabeth’s research focuses on a series of compounds (CCG-1423/CCG-203971) that have shown efficacy against melanoma in both cell and animal models. In partnership with collaborators, her group has used biophysical approaches to identify pirin as the molecular target of these compounds.
