ABOUT
Dalen Agnew is the Chair and a Professor in the Department of Pathobiology and Diagnostic Investigation within the College of Veterinary Medicine. His research focuses on reproductive lesions and cancers in many wildlife species.
Dr. Agnew received his D.V.M. from MSU and completed his residency and Ph.D. at University of California, Davis. He is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Pathologists.
RESEARCH
Dr. Agnew’s laboratory contains an archive of reproductive tracts from a wide variety mammalian species and other vertebrates, including whole formalin fixed tissues, paraffin embedded blocks, glass slides, and frozen tissue. His lab’s recent investigations include reproductive lesions of captive suids, ovarian carcinoma in jaguars, and reproductive lesions in polar bears.
