Jin He is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. His research focuses on understanding basic epigenetic mechanisms in gene regulation.

RESEARCH

The He lab investigates fundamental questions related to epigenetic regulation and gene expression during normal development as well as in diseases. Specifically, Dr. He’s research examines dynamic epigenetic modifications at gene regulatory elements during lineage specification and cell fate determination, and the functional role of epigenetic mechanisms in cancer stem cells and tumorigenesis.
