Ling Huang

Assistant Professor Research
Pharmacology and Toxicology

ABOUT

Dr. Ling Huang is a cancer researcher in the Department of Surgery at Henry Ford Health and the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology at Michigan State University.

He earned his Ph.D. from Purdue University and completed postdoctoral training at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre at the University of Toronto. Before establishing his laboratory at Henry Ford Health, he served as a staff scientist at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School. Dr. Huang’s research uses patient derived and stem cell–derived organoids to study pathways driving pancreatic cancer and to understand how genetic ancestry shapes population specific tumor development.

RESEARCH

The research investigates how modulation of RNA splicing influences drug response in pancreatic cancer. It also examines ancestry associated biological pathways that may contribute to pancreatic tumor development across diverse populations.
