Eran Andrechek is a Professor in the Department of Physiology. His research uses bioinformatics and genetic models to examine the mechanisms involved in the development and progression of breast cancer.
Prior to joining MSU, Dr. Andrechek received his Ph.D. from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, and completed his postdoctoral training at Duke University.
The Andrechek laboratory focuses on understanding mammary tumor development and employs several methods ranging from animal models to computational analysis of gene expression data. Current efforts include analyzing heterogeneity in mouse models of breast cancer through signaling pathway signatures and modeling individualized therapy in a transgenic system.
